Broken elbows and blistered feet.

The last few weeks have been quite memorable...To say the least. Lets start with two weeks ago when it was our TWO year anniversary! How in the world has it been two years? 30 years will be here before we know it! ha ha just kidding, lets hope not. We had a wonderful relaxing day together. We had a nice early breakfast, went to the gym (don't judge, we love the gym) and for lunch we went to Elements! Mmmm it was so tasty. We tried just about everything the lunch menu offered...What's up 5 lbs? Make yourself at home and join my butt and hips(Not kidding) After that we checked in to the Anniversary Inn and enjoyed Summer Fest across the street. Kettle corn, my man and some good music is all I need. It was a simple day and that's how I prefer an anniversary celebration. I love my husband more than anything in this world. He takes such good care of me and I don't deserve him. I love you Dallin...2 years down, FOREVER to go. XOXO

Ragnar Relay 2013...CHECK! Still alive and breathing HALLELUJAH...You'd say the same thing after 7.8 miles straight, up hill. It was such a great time despite all the miles we ran. Running is such an outlet for me so when you put friends and all you can eat trail mix into the equation, I'M IN! I love running so much in fact that I signed up for my first FULL 26.2 mile marathon! Crazy? Maybe but I want to prove to myself that I can overcome such a physical obstacle. My sister in-laws Lisa and Glory have both run full marathons so they've made we want to do it! I'm currently training and so far it hasn't been too rough. The difficult days are ahead but I'm up for it and ready to work hard.

Broken elbow for Dallin Folks! Softball can be rough sometimes and Dallin has officially retired. Though it was a beautiful catch it was definitely not worth it. Thursday night was a  party in the ER. I've never seen D in so much pain, it was very sad to see. Dallin will be getting surgery sometime  within the next week so keep him in your prayers. I hope we stay healthy for the next little while, for my sake and our bank accounts. Sure glad he is okay!

So there ya have it! Broken bones and all but life is still good people. Feeling so blessed XOXO

 KETTLE CORN!
 Finishing the Ragnar Relay.
Lunch with my best friends! It was so great seeing them all...I'm a little behind in the kid department...
Me and Jesse before our first leg!
 The van!
Dress shopping for Maddi! Such a fun date with my Sister and Mom.
Austin and Brianne Galbraith are finally married. We love them so much #lifelongfriends

Weekend getaway xoxo

Memorial weekend is always a special time to reflect on the lives that have gone before us. It's such a sad but proud feeling to have the entire day. I'm so grateful for my freedoms I have as an American citizen. Those who have fought and died for our country will never comprehend the gratitude I have towards them.
To enjoy our day off Dallin and I took a quick trip to Park City! We had study group in Bountiful Sunday night with Dallin's family so we thought what the heck, let's go! We arrived Sunday night and as soon as we checked in we enjoyed some treats and hot tubbing! When we woke up we had some breakfast at our favorite place called Omelet and bagels. Their breakfast is to DIE FOR. After breakfast we did some shopping (which usually isn't my favorite) and stopped my Mrs. fields cookies (always my favorite) after the shopping and cookies we visited the Olympic Games park. It was so fun and interesting to learn more about the Winter Olympic Games when they came to Utah. After that little activity we went to a movie. By the time we were into our second LARGE bag of popcorn I thought to myself "Maybe it's time to go home." Ha ha after thoughts like that come to my mind it means I'm tired and I've had my fun...mission accomplished. I love the freedom Dallin and I have to go on little spontaneous trips, they save me. I love you honey!

The End of a great dance season!

Well we pulled it off again! The Dance Factory Studio is ready to take on the summer. We had our annual dance recital on the 14th and 15th of May. Our dancers did a wonderful job and we couldn't have been more proud. It's always a strange feeling at the end of the year. It's a huge relief don't get me wrong but at the same time I can't help but feel anxiety towards the next year. All these questions play over and over in my mind. Will that certain girl come back? Are parents impressed with our studio? Will I be able to choreograph as good as my last year? Am I good enough? It all may sound a bit silly but like I've said in past posts I love my job and I want to do my very best.
Our studio has come so far the last couple years. We have a reputation behind our studio's name and I want to keep building from that. Our DFS staff is amazing and we all work so well together. Might I add that there is nothing better than working for your Mother. She is the foundation to our studio! We wouldn't be anywhere without her. Love you Mom!

Color Vibe 5k! What a great weekend...

This weekend was full of fun filled events. It was needed because this week is going to be a roller coaster. On Saturday my My Mom, Baylee, Me and Maddi all registered for the color vibe 5k run. It was each of our first time doing it so we were a bit anxious to see how it would all play out. it ended up being one of the funnest things I've ever done. At the starting line and every 1/2 mile there was a "color station" Where they would just cover you in a cornstarch based, colored powder. Maddi even got it up her nose and still continues to sneeze neon green. After the race ended there was a dance party of course and according to ME that is when the real fun began. I was having a ball head bashing and dancing like a crazy person. I'm positive people thought I was intoxicated...But NOPE I'm just a little crazy when music is blasting and the bass is pounding, talk about adrenaline. I'm so happy my best friends are my sisters and Mom. I wish they knew how much they meant to me.
Sunday (yesterday) was Mothers Day!!! Yipeee HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all you mommies out there. I'm so grateful for all the mothers in my life especially my Mom and Lorie. We would be nowhere without our mom's. I love mine very much and hope to become HALF the woman she is someday.
Well this week is dance review...Enough said right? There is much to do and as of right now READY, Get SET...GOOOOO!

Galbraith Wedding 5/2/2013

Austin is a married man can you believe it? Brianne Moffit Galbraith is the lucky woman! They were married yesterday in the Logan Temple. It was one of the most beautiful ceremonies I've ever attended. Austin looked at Brianne in the most sincere, kind, loving way! It was a tear fest and I was grateful for the experience to be there with them at such a special time in their lives.
Dallin and Austin became best friends after Glory and Lorie introduced them in 1999. I'm sure the two mothers had no idea what they were getting themselves into by the introduction but as years have passed it's been quite the friendship journey.
Brianne and Austin are made for each other. Brianne has the worlds biggest heart...and brain. She is a smart, determined little thing and I love her. I'm so happy they found each other when they did. Timing is everything and heavenly father knows when and where things need to happen. I know that there will be many more blog posts mentioning the Galbraith's. They are great friends and they always will be!

Celebrity Dance Competition 2013

Another competition season has come and gone! It's weird to think that our dance girls only have one performance left. Which by the way is our huge dance recital that is May 14th and 15th at the BRHS...Don't miss it! Our girls have worked so hard this year and it definitely shines through their dancing. Just like everything else in life there are ups and downs in the dance world and luckily our ENTIRE studio and staff loves what they do.
This past weekend our girls earned multiple 1st places and overall achievements from judges. Our studio even received the best showmanship award! Boy was I a proud teacher! Every time one of our teams ended a routine I wanted to turn to the crowd and say "Those are my girls, I taught them!" There wasn't one girl on the floor from our studio who wasn't trying her hardest. I appreciate the hard work and dedication they bring to our studio. They represent us and make us stand tall. If any of you are reading this I love you! Thanks for all you have taught me XOXO

Xtreme Dance Competition

Our first major competition of the season is out of the way! We received three 1st places, two 2nd and 1 OVERALL high score. It was a definite success and we are so proud of our girls! WE LOVE DFS! Our next competition is in less than two weeks so there is still a lot of intense rehearsals ahead.
This week is a crazy one and full of birthdays! Dad's was on the 8th, Alba turned 2 today, Tyton and Grandma Cherre are on the 15th, Jaycee is on the 16th and my Mom turns 52 on Wednesday the 17th! WOAH! Birthday overload. I'm so grateful for each of them and they all mean the world to me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you all I love you!
It's starting to warm up in Cache Valley yipeee! I'm so relieved to feel some warmth outside. Life is busy but life is soooo good. Dallin and I are still in the nursery and today the little one's were AWESOME! No tears and everyone had a smile on their face... Hallelujah! After church we enjoyed dinner at my Mom and Dad's house. It was delicious of course and along with good food at the Roche's comes good laughs. I love my Family so much. I cannot wait until some of Dallin's family moves a little closer, we miss them so much. Family is everything to me. Baylee and Jaycee will be home for the summer in a couple weeks! I'm so excited to see them! It's been way too long and I hope they haven't grown too much. Ed and Lorie continue to do wonderful things on their mission. They talk to us as often as they can and show there love in more ways than one. We can begin their year countdown in June can you believe it?
Cadbury is my little snuggle buddy! I hold him every chance I get and it's wonderful. He will keep me company until We can have a little person of our own. Life is good friends and family, we love you!
