Mr. & Mrs. Rawlings XOXO

My baby sister is married! WHAT? It was such a wonderful day to spend with our families. On September 20th Maddi married her sweetheart for time and all eternity in the Logan temple. Maddi married Riley Rawlings from Preston, Idaho. He is such a great guy and is a wonderful addition to the crazy Roche bunch. They are both working and going to school in Logan so they are close by, so close in fact that they are our neighbors! Colonial village apartments welcomes another newly wed couple. Until our house is built in Smithfield Maddi and I just live a few doors away. Jaycee should retire and move here too don't ya think? Then all the Roche sisters could be together! Ha ha Bay would love that;) we are so excited for Maddi and Riley! Thanks to everyone who was a part of the big day and helped us out. It was PERFECT <3

Summer is officially over now that the wedding is over:( Baylee and the girls left for Spain once again. The night before they leave is the absolute worst! Goodbyes do not get easier and I think all of us thought that it would over time. Between the Carroll's in Spain and my in-laws in Guatemala I am so sick of saying goodbye! I could never do what I see Baylee go through. If you know me you know that I am a home body. When I am away from my family I am not myself. I'm not very well on my own, quite opposite from Baylee. She is miss independent and I look up to her for that and many other reasons. Baby #3 makes her appearance in December and she is going to rock it! I love you sissy thanks for a great summer.

Today I am missing the Carroll's and Dallin!!!! Dallin is in California on a business/vacation trip with his co-workers. On Saturday they all went to the USC vs. USU football game! Sadly our Aggies lost but the guys are still having a great time. Dallin has taken lots of fun pictures and I'm happy to see him having a good time. It's now been three days without him...so it's time to come home!

The house is coming right along! Check it out:)
We are very blessed and happy to be where we are in our lives. There is much to look forward to in the next couple months! Lisa is having her baby girl on the 18th and Lorie is coming on the 15th. There are no words that can describe my excitement for these upcoming events! I just want to jump up and down when I think about it. Lisa is just OWNING her pregnancy. She made 2,000 cookies and did all the refreshments for Maddi's wedding 8 months pregnant. Who does that? Did I mention she can still run? Yeah...like 7 miles. She is a rock star and I'm so thankful for her example in my life.
Dancing has started up again and my marathon is on Saturday. To say I'm overwhelmed is a bit of an understatement. I'm overwhelmed in a very positive way though...if that makes sense. Life is full of opportunities and if we can take them all I imagine we will all be a little crazy. Crazy blessed, crazy good, crazy loved. It's a crazy life!

Manners matter

Yesterday I had the honor of speaking to a group of Young women about proper etiquette. It was so much fun, I truly enjoyed myself teaching these girls and sharing experiences about being a lady (I may have learned more than they did) anyways I came up with a list of "10 gentle reminders" to help young ladies become more proper and lady like. Check it out and pass it on! XOXO

Summer is over?

Well obviously it's been a busy/exciting summer...Last time I posted anything was in June. I can't believe it's over.
July was wonderful! Having Ken and Lisa back in Cache Valley has been such a blessing. I hope once the cold weather comes they still love being here. Lisa is having a little girl in October and guess who is coming for the delivery? LORIE!!! I don't think I could be more excited to see her. Thank goodness for new babies is all I can say. I haven't seen my in-laws since Christmas so I'm getting very anxious. Jaycee Carroll finally arrived to Logan and after 8 short weeks he is back in Madrid. Bay and the girls are staying until Maddi's wedding so it will be nice to enjoy them a little longer than usual. Speaking of wedding plans...ONLY 23 days left until Maddi Roche is Mrs. Rawlings. I cannot believe my baby sister will be a married woman! We sure love Riley and he will be a great addition to our crazy bunch.
August has flown by even faster than July. We are finally seeing progress with our house! We are building a house in Smithfield and are hoping to be in by Thanksgiving! I think Dallin and I are really growing up, don't you? We have found that the harder we work the better luck we seem to have. Work for the both of us has been great! I taught ballerobica and technique classes all summer so I stayed plenty busy. Maddi, my mom and I even went to a few dance camps! We learned a lot of material to use during the 2013-2014 dance year so I'm ready to get back into it. Dallin and I are so grateful for our jobs, we truly love what we do. Life is great and the Lord blesses us everyday with something new.

Broken elbows and blistered feet.

The last few weeks have been quite memorable...To say the least. Lets start with two weeks ago when it was our TWO year anniversary! How in the world has it been two years? 30 years will be here before we know it! ha ha just kidding, lets hope not. We had a wonderful relaxing day together. We had a nice early breakfast, went to the gym (don't judge, we love the gym) and for lunch we went to Elements! Mmmm it was so tasty. We tried just about everything the lunch menu offered...What's up 5 lbs? Make yourself at home and join my butt and hips(Not kidding) After that we checked in to the Anniversary Inn and enjoyed Summer Fest across the street. Kettle corn, my man and some good music is all I need. It was a simple day and that's how I prefer an anniversary celebration. I love my husband more than anything in this world. He takes such good care of me and I don't deserve him. I love you Dallin...2 years down, FOREVER to go. XOXO

Ragnar Relay 2013...CHECK! Still alive and breathing HALLELUJAH...You'd say the same thing after 7.8 miles straight, up hill. It was such a great time despite all the miles we ran. Running is such an outlet for me so when you put friends and all you can eat trail mix into the equation, I'M IN! I love running so much in fact that I signed up for my first FULL 26.2 mile marathon! Crazy? Maybe but I want to prove to myself that I can overcome such a physical obstacle. My sister in-laws Lisa and Glory have both run full marathons so they've made we want to do it! I'm currently training and so far it hasn't been too rough. The difficult days are ahead but I'm up for it and ready to work hard.

Broken elbow for Dallin Folks! Softball can be rough sometimes and Dallin has officially retired. Though it was a beautiful catch it was definitely not worth it. Thursday night was a  party in the ER. I've never seen D in so much pain, it was very sad to see. Dallin will be getting surgery sometime  within the next week so keep him in your prayers. I hope we stay healthy for the next little while, for my sake and our bank accounts. Sure glad he is okay!

So there ya have it! Broken bones and all but life is still good people. Feeling so blessed XOXO

 KETTLE CORN!
 Finishing the Ragnar Relay.
Lunch with my best friends! It was so great seeing them all...I'm a little behind in the kid department...
Me and Jesse before our first leg!
 The van!
Dress shopping for Maddi! Such a fun date with my Sister and Mom.
Austin and Brianne Galbraith are finally married. We love them so much #lifelongfriends

Weekend getaway xoxo

Memorial weekend is always a special time to reflect on the lives that have gone before us. It's such a sad but proud feeling to have the entire day. I'm so grateful for my freedoms I have as an American citizen. Those who have fought and died for our country will never comprehend the gratitude I have towards them.
To enjoy our day off Dallin and I took a quick trip to Park City! We had study group in Bountiful Sunday night with Dallin's family so we thought what the heck, let's go! We arrived Sunday night and as soon as we checked in we enjoyed some treats and hot tubbing! When we woke up we had some breakfast at our favorite place called Omelet and bagels. Their breakfast is to DIE FOR. After breakfast we did some shopping (which usually isn't my favorite) and stopped my Mrs. fields cookies (always my favorite) after the shopping and cookies we visited the Olympic Games park. It was so fun and interesting to learn more about the Winter Olympic Games when they came to Utah. After that little activity we went to a movie. By the time we were into our second LARGE bag of popcorn I thought to myself "Maybe it's time to go home." Ha ha after thoughts like that come to my mind it means I'm tired and I've had my fun...mission accomplished. I love the freedom Dallin and I have to go on little spontaneous trips, they save me. I love you honey!

The End of a great dance season!

Well we pulled it off again! The Dance Factory Studio is ready to take on the summer. We had our annual dance recital on the 14th and 15th of May. Our dancers did a wonderful job and we couldn't have been more proud. It's always a strange feeling at the end of the year. It's a huge relief don't get me wrong but at the same time I can't help but feel anxiety towards the next year. All these questions play over and over in my mind. Will that certain girl come back? Are parents impressed with our studio? Will I be able to choreograph as good as my last year? Am I good enough? It all may sound a bit silly but like I've said in past posts I love my job and I want to do my very best.
Our studio has come so far the last couple years. We have a reputation behind our studio's name and I want to keep building from that. Our DFS staff is amazing and we all work so well together. Might I add that there is nothing better than working for your Mother. She is the foundation to our studio! We wouldn't be anywhere without her. Love you Mom!

Color Vibe 5k! What a great weekend...

This weekend was full of fun filled events. It was needed because this week is going to be a roller coaster. On Saturday my My Mom, Baylee, Me and Maddi all registered for the color vibe 5k run. It was each of our first time doing it so we were a bit anxious to see how it would all play out. it ended up being one of the funnest things I've ever done. At the starting line and every 1/2 mile there was a "color station" Where they would just cover you in a cornstarch based, colored powder. Maddi even got it up her nose and still continues to sneeze neon green. After the race ended there was a dance party of course and according to ME that is when the real fun began. I was having a ball head bashing and dancing like a crazy person. I'm positive people thought I was intoxicated...But NOPE I'm just a little crazy when music is blasting and the bass is pounding, talk about adrenaline. I'm so happy my best friends are my sisters and Mom. I wish they knew how much they meant to me.
Sunday (yesterday) was Mothers Day!!! Yipeee HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all you mommies out there. I'm so grateful for all the mothers in my life especially my Mom and Lorie. We would be nowhere without our mom's. I love mine very much and hope to become HALF the woman she is someday.
Well this week is dance review...Enough said right? There is much to do and as of right now READY, Get SET...GOOOOO!
